Welcome to the Cephas Prayerboard. We frequently get requests for prayers and wish to have you participate in praying for the needs we are presented with.

We hope you will participate with us since we do not have a membership elsewhere. Heavenly Father loves to hear us pray and will bless us for it.

Please help us pray for Dori who broke her arm..
Lord Jesus, believers have always brought people to You for healings. Sightless people could see, the deaf could hear, the lame could walk, the dead were raised! You have the power of life and death over every circumstance in our lives. Now, dear Lord Jesus, we pray for Dori who sustained an injury on her bike. Be merciful and heal her bones perfectly like you have in so many other instances. I thank you again for my sister’s healing who had broken her right wrist in 10 places recently. She sews for a living and was devastated. Well with Your love even the doctor was amazed how quickly she healed and lost just a few days of income. Father we celebrate You daily and love You for walking with us every minute of the day and are not even aware of all the blessings You pore on us. Please keep us from fretting about tomorrow and keep us diligent in sharing your wonderful message to all those around that Your next coming is so near that we can almost touch You. Father please be with all those Who are in You and are suffering from the present economic situation. Comfort them and remind them that the Bible is being fulfilled daily and You are on Your way to take control soon. Keep drawing Dori and her family and friends to Yourself and Your miracles will continue to be evident in their lives. I pray that their faith will remain strong and steadfast in the coming months. UPDATE: Continue to pray for the Creative Access Country worker who had a seizure. She had a good check-up with a neurologist. After concerns that she might have a spot on the back of her brain, the evaluation found that the spot was only a cyst. However, the doctors believe she has epilepsy. Pray for her during this time of adjustment to new medication. The seizures should be able to be controlled with medication.
Praise God! Emile, the guard at Dorcas House, was the first person to accept the Lord on the ministry site. Pray that he will grow in the Lord.
Pray for Lorinda Robinson as she travels with two other members of the National Sunday School Committee to visit the churches in three of their districts in early July. Pray for safe travel, a good time of fellowship, and profitable visits with the Sunday school leaders in those districts.
Sarah Diehl, from the Western Pennsylvania District (Bedford C&MA), will serve a two-year apprenticeship in Burkina. Pray for Sarah as she prepares to join the team. Also, pray that God will provide all the funds necessary for her to come and will take care of all the details.
Pray for missionaries in transition and on home assignment. Pray for safety and a fruitful ministry.
Pray for Alfa, a young boy who suffers from epilepsy. He burned his knee badly when he fell into a fire during a seizure. Alfa and his father have been coming to church but have not yet received Jesus. Pray that they will come to know Him.

Pray for Jim and Sharon Kendall as they present two seminars in early July for youth on healing relationships with their parents and another in mid-July on choosing a life mate and establishing a Christian home.
Praise God for the salvation of Seiko, a young mother in a seekers' group led by Nathan and Tomoko Long and Jane Landaw. Pray for her baptism in September, and pray that her husband will also accept the Lord. Pray for the salvation of six other young mothers in this group.
Pray for the summer camp preparations at
Pray for Kalie, Jim and Kathy Sappia's daughter, who recently had blood work done for allergies. Pray for complete healing and that she will sleep better at night. Pray also for their daughter Hannah, who suffers from clogged ears and has trouble hearing well.
EUROPE/MIDDLE EAST
BALKANS: Pray for Petula Myers as she transitions to another city July 5. Pray for open doors to minister in her new neighborhood.
Pray for good weather for an English day camp this week. More than 80 children have registered. Pray that the Lord will use this camp to draw the children, the volunteer workers from the English school, and the youngsters' parents to Him.
Pray for Christine Queer as she continues in language study. Pray especially for comprehension in listening.
Alan and Trish Eggleton request prayer for their church as several key members will transition to other ministries. Also, pray for a handful of others who have walked away from God. As the church reaches out in love to them, pray that they will choose to live out God's truth in their lives.
Pray for Vadim Shpakov, a new member of the Eggleton's church who was recently baptized. Vadim also is organizing a mini rock-climbing camp. Pray that non-Christians will attend and that it will be a great time of connecting with the Creator.
Pray for the health of Marina, the wife of one of the administrators of the

Pray for a CAC couple who are expecting a baby. Pray for a safe delivery and healthy child. Also, pray for God's healing touch on a young man who needs surgery.

Sorry I'm so late with my prayers but simply in too much demand. Here is goes:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, You went among Your people healing all manner of disease. Today we ask graciouosly for You to consider Elizabeth's problem with depression and place Your hand on her life to relieve her of that negative experience since You did it for me. Jesus most of Christians are struggling with it when we don't read Your Word on a daily basis. We understand that You told us to keep our mind on You daily and hopefully all day long but it is not so easy to do when we have chores to do. Help Elizabeth understand that we are healed when we walk the messages that You gave us in the Holy Bible. We are forever grateful that You gave us a "How to Book" that works and it is the only Book that works. Jesus, I cannot thank You enough for that advice and I pray You will instill that in Elizabeth so she can benefit from it as well. You wrote to us that your yoke is easy and that we are to experience your peace and joy on a daily basis and we do if we go by what You taught. We love Your Word and look forward to our eternal future with You in Heaven. In fact we can't wait until You come and fetch us up in the clouds to be Your Bride which is much to look forward to. Teach Elizabeth that we are very fortunate to be in that kind of anticipation (of our coming marriage) and have nothing to be negative about. (There is nothing more important than Your promises). Praise You forevermore for giving You young life for us to live eternally in Your heaven. We are grateful for that privilege and say this prayer in Your name, Amen

A prayer request from Tracey
I want to thank God for putting a wonderfully Godly man in my life. He has shown me through His Word and through other believers that this is the man He wants me to serve and minister with as a helper mate for the rest of my life. We are both in approaching middle age and neither of us has been married so there is some apprehension and fear on his part. Please pray for his fears to
be removed and for him to see the beautiful possibilities God has infront of us. My first name is Tracey.
Our prayer for you Tracey and your husband: Dear heavenly, gracious Father, whom we adore and serve, forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. We come to You in prayer for Tracey and her desire to see her busband free from fear that keeps him from doing what he should be doing in Your behalf. We pray that You will inspire Tracey's husband with Your Word in Matthew 10:28-31 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him [God] which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."
Father, You taught us that Your Word would not return to You void and You told us that Your Word is a living Word that You can deposit into us and we pray that such will be the case in this instance. We know You enough and know Your ways how You lead us to the truth in miraculous ways. And we pray that you will do that with Tracey's husband. Give Tracey's husband an extra strong desire to study the New Testament to saturate him with the truth which will keep him from fearing anything in the future outside of You. We understand that we are to fear You and do Your will by applying Your principles to our lives. We pray this prayer in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, Amen
Our continued prayer for Callie and her children:
Christ Jesus, helper of the weak, You know, Jesus, the challenges and burdens of those who are caring for Callie, mother of three small children, are facing throughout the final days of Callie’s afflictions. We pray Lord Jesus, that Callie finds forgiveness in her heart for her brother and mother so she can rest in peace in Your arms and see them again when Jesus resurrects our bodies to eternal life with Him in Heaven. Dear Jesus please bring information to the grandmother who has been apprehended from a visit, about the Children and what is going to become of them. Watch over those little ones while the changes for them are going on. Comfort them when their mother becomes unavailable to them. You are our only hope for some relief here. You can inspire at least the Catholic lady with Callie to write about the children’s future.
Jesus, You took human flesh upon Yourself to suffer the full weight of human frailty. You endured painful trials, overcame the stress of Satan’s temptations, and carried our sins and sorrows to Your death on the cross. As Your touch brought healing of body, mind and soul to others, we ask that, if it be Your will, You grant healing also to Callie if not her body then her heart. If it pleases You to allow her in this affliction give her full measure of Your patience that in You she may endure the weaknesses of her flesh, remain steadfast in her faith in You, and receive full and perfect healing in the life to come.
Heavenly Father, we praise You for the lives that You granted us with those we love dearly, even if separations are difficult. You have Your reasons for doing what You are doing. Sometimes the sin factor makes it necessary and we fully comprehend that. It is for the person’s good to keep them out of the prophesied lake of fire.
It is a great cause of celebration knowing that You have created us, giving us our body and soul, our reason and all our senses. You have created us as a unique, one of a kind person, giving us features that are uniquely ours and recognized by You. Thank You for giving our lives purpose and meaning. Even more, You have graciously made us your children and heirs through the new birth of Holy Baptism and faith in You. Amid the the sad reports we are able to continue with our assignments and give You glory. We thank You for quiet moments in conversation with You, our Creator. We are so glad to be Your children, and since You told us that Heaven is full of children we can rest assured that You will take the place of Callie and watch over her children and make sure they will be in a good home together. You told us that we can depend on Your love and grace forever. We pray this prayer in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we thank you from our hearts that You rescued us from the eternal flames of the Lake of Fire and forgave us our past completely which was awesome.
We come before You Father God, to plead for the Mormons that are trapped in the lies of Mormonism because they are blind to the truth. You promised to put a delusion on those who do not go to the Word of God and study it diligently. Only doing that can they be set free. We realize that, Father, but we know it takes believers to point them to that truth. Father, please provide believers to work the harvest and bring the young missionaries to places and people who will share the Gospel with them about the real Jesus. Father, they are fed lies and need to hear the truth. There is a shortage of teachers and books about Mormonism and we need that to change so we can cover all that You wish to cover. We know where Your heart is Father God. You do not wish for anyone to end up in hell. Jesus, Your precious Son, stated that He would leave the 99 to recover the 1 lost sheep. He made that happen for me and my prayer is for those who are believers at heart but are imprisoned by liars. Please give us the tools, provision and believers to change that. We humbly love You and pray for the Rapture as well to end this bloodshed and lies once and for all. We so look forward to Your soon coming. In humble appreciation we receive the New Testament salvation and repent of all our sins. We pray for Jerusalem in crisis today as well. My Prayer for Callie, Dore and Jamma,
Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Psalms
Father God, You tell us where there are two of us who shall agree it shall be done for them of our Father - Matthew 18:19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” In this case I’m taking for granted that the parties involved would be in agreement with me and plead their case the way I’m pleading it for them. I’m sorry to say that there is no one in my household to make two. Father there is Scripture in the Old Testament that states the following: Deuteronomy 17:6 “At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.” Since all three involved face death this verse applies.
In John 10:10 You wrote that Jesus Christ came that we might have life more abundantly.
“ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” You also sent Your Son to heal the sick. Luke 10:9 “And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.” We believe in Your Holy Word and bring the following three, 2 sisters and a brother to Your throne and the presence of Jesus Christ our justifier Who died for all sins that cause our destruction and death. We plead for the life or these three to be spared as a result of a complete healing to bring glory to Your name Father.
The three I’m praying for are Nicholas’s sister Callie who has the most severe case of cancer, my sister Dore and our brother in Christ Jesus, Jamma. All three are suffering from the ravages of cancer. Callie opted to receive an experimental treatment rather than B 17, a natural remedy. Dore is undergoing scan after scan to find what the doctor’s think is hidden cancer after an operation for lung cancer and Jamma, after 2 ½ years of Chemo and the doctor’s inability to find cancer recently gave up on Chemo to try B 17. All three are operating on their faith in You and hoping you will hear their plea for a healing. Heavenly Father we are praying for mercy on their situation and for You to heal them completely. Callie has three little girls and Jamma has four young children, both families need their parents to be there for them. Dore has a husband of 50 years who cannot live without her.
Father in the prayer Jesus left for us to pray that we must forgive those who trespassed against us and it goes on to say Mark 11:26 “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Without forgiveness there is no healing from the Lord and we understand and accept that YOUR WILL will be done. Our faith in Your decisions remain steadfast and are the reason we seek Your help.
Father we ask for forgiveness of their and my sins and inspiration to get more involved with Your precious Bible and a relationship with Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ so all of us receive eternal life in heaven. Father thank you for your encouragement in the following message: .
118:14-29 The LORD is [our] strength and song, and is become [our] salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
