Almighty and most merciful God, we pray for Your loving compassion on our friends in Australia and all those who suffer from the fires in Australia, from grievous homelessness all over the world, starvation and epidemic diseases due to lack of income.Tie the hands of arsonists to prevent the huge forest fires. Restrain leaders from war against countries; inspire those who need jobs with ideas that will provide means to take care of their needs. Provide insight to them how to get what they need by peaceful means. In Your mercy, deliver them from this peril and affliction that the leaders are creating by spending billions on wars. Give strength and skill to those who minister to the afflicted and dying. Bless those who seek means to provide alleviation and cure for the illnesses that plague your people. Comfort and console with tender compassion of the Savior all who suffer. Inspire growth in their faith, that their hope in You may never be put to shame. As remember the frailties and uncertainties of our life in this world, assist us by Your Holy Spirit to apply our hearts to the heavenly wisdom that leads to eternal life, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
